Welcome to Year 5- Emmeline Pankhurst Class

Pankhurst class is taught by Mrs. Norris, Mrs Eaves and Mr Mooney and supported by Mrs. Blake and Mrs. Minnette. Year 5 is full of fun, opportunities and interesting topics as we build up to the responsibility of becoming the oldest pupils in the school next year.

Year 5 is an exciting year as we move into Upper Key Stage Two. Central to all of our learning is our focus on our character strengths, our brain, our attitude for gratitude, relating to others and engage with school life and community life. We aim to develop our ability to self-regulate our learning, to develop an independent drive to learn.

Our enterprise project is one of the highlights of our year, where we will get to design our own products, source our own materials, work within a budget and consider the costings in order to make a profit. We will get to vote for a class reward based on the profit we make.
